Algee Smith is an actor, singer by profession, and American by nationality. He is well known for starring in the film Detroit and in the TV series Euphoria.

Algee Smith’s birth took place on November 7, 1994, in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. His mother’s name is Tanesha Eley and his father’s name is Algee Smith III. His parents divorced when he was four years old and his mother married John Eley, who is now his stepfather.

Smith has two younger half-sisters Soteria Nisreen Eley, and Gabriella Eley, and a younger stepbrother named Jonathan Eley. They were raised in Atlanta after moving there with his family at the age of eight.

Finally, he was cast as Larry Reed in the 2017 crime drama film Detroit which is considered his breakthrough role.
