Wong discovered her love for performing at UCLA. There she was a member of LCC Theatre Company. After completing college, she pursued a career in comedy and performed in New York City, even up to nine stand-up acts per night.
Years after starting her professional career in 2005, she was included in Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch in 2011. Soon she had appearances in The Tonight Show, John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show.
