Alison Brie is an actress by profession. The American nation is best known for starring in Community as Annie Edison, in Mad Men as Trudy Campbell, BoJack Horseman as Diane Nguyen, and in GLOW as Ruth Wilder.

Alison Brie’s birth took place on December 29, 1982, in Hollywood, California, USA. Born as Alison Brie Schermerhorn to her father Charles Terry Schermerhorn, a musician, and freelance entertainment reporter, and her mother Joanne Brenner, who works at a non-profit childcare agency For the Children, she has a sibling. Her older sister is named Lauren. Her parents divorced when she was young.

In regards to Alison Brie’s educational history, Alison Brie attended South Pasadena High School, graduating in 2001. She went on to study at the California Institute of the Arts where she earned a  bachelor's degree in theater in 2005. Alison Brie – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Alison Brie began dating actor Dave Franco in 2012. The pair had first met at a Mardi Gras party in New Orleans in 2011. After years of a romantic relationship, she and her boyfriend got engaged on August 25, 2015. The couple finally married on March 13, 2017.

She does not have any children with her husband yet and is in a blissful marriage. In early 2019, the couple shared that they were choosing not to have children.

There have been no rumors of divorce or cheating scandals surrounding the married couple.

Early Days

Brie started acting onstage at the Jewish Community Center in Southern California and after college graduation, she worked as a clown at birthday parties while also performing in theatres in California.

Her debut role was in the 2004 short film Stolen Poem as Alice followed by the role of Nina in an episode of Hannah Montana (2006). Finally, in 2007 Alison Brie was cast as the recurring character Trudy Campbell in the drama TV series Mad Men. She portrayed the character, which is her major breakthrough, until 2015- for a total of 36 episodes.

Over the years Alison Brie has portrayed characters in the TV series Community (2009-2015) as Annie Edison, Doctor Thorne (2016), GLOW (2017-present) as Ruth Wilder, and lent her voice in BoJack Horseman (2014-2020), to name a few.

She has also starred in the films The Coverup (2008), Scream 4 (2011), The Five-Year Engagement (2012), The Lego Movie (2014), A Family Man (2016), The Post (2017), Promising Young Woman (2020), The Rental (2020), Happiest Season (2020). Brie also starred, wrote, and produced the 2020 psychological drama film Horse Girl.
