Who is Brandon Clarke?

Brandon Clarke is a basketball player by profession and Canadian by nationality. He is a power forward for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA), having played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.

Brandon Clarke’s birth took place on September 19, 1996, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was born to a Canadian mother Whitney Triplett, a registered nurse, and a Jamaican father Steve Clarke. 

His parents separated when he was still young. His mother went on to marry Bryan Triplett, who is very much proud of his stepson.

College Games

Brandon Clarke played college basketball for San Jose State Spartans for a total of two seasons. His stats in freshman year was 10.1 points and 7.3 rebounds while as a sophomore Clarke averaged 17.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 2.3 assists. After the season he transferred to Gonzaga.

In the 2017-2018 season at Gonzaga, Clarke was red-shirted. His stats for the 2018-2019 season with the Gonzaga Bulldogs are 98 GP, 69 GS, 27.8 MPG, 0.639 FG%, 0.250 3P%, etc.

Professional career

Brandon Clarke was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft with the 21st overall pick. On July 7, 2019, it was announced that he had been officially transferred to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Clarke made his NBA debut on October 23, 2019, and played against the Oklahoma City Thunder on December 19, 2019.
