Brett Dalton is an actor by profession and American by nationality. He is best known for starring in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Hive and Grant Ward, in the 2015 game Until Dawn as Michael Munroe.

He went on to study at the University of California and earned his Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama in 2011.

Dalton married his longtime girlfriend Melissa Trn on 16 December 2015 after years of dating and had met while attending the Yale School of Drama. With his wife, he has a child, a daughter named Sylvia Dalton (born in 2012). However, in November 2019 it was reported that he had filed for divorce. 

Brett Dalton is currently dating Eloise Mumford.

Early Days

Dalton’s interest in acting began after he auditioned for a production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Having started his career in 2007 in the TV series Nurses, which was not picked up, he went on to star in short films 1:00am Games (2009), and Sheets (2012). 

After a series of guest roles in the TV series Army Wives (2012), and Killing Lincoln (2013), Brett Dalton finally landed the role of Grant Ward, Hive in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2016, 2017, 2018). He was the main role in seasons 1-3, a recurring role in season 4, and a guest role in season 5 of the series.

Since then he has starred in films Beside Still Waters (2014), The Resurrection of Gavin Stone (2017), Lost in Florence  (2017), and Confidence (2019). 

Moreover, Brett Dalton has lent in voice to Jake and the Never Land Pirates (2015), Robot Chicken (2015, 2018), Milo Murphy's Law (2017-2019), and guest-starred in Elementary (2018), Deception (2018).

Dalton is also known for starring in Hallmark Channel films Cooking with Love (2018), Once Upon a Christmas Miracle (2018), and Just My Type (2020). Also, he played Michael Munroe in the 2015 video game Until Dawn.
