Early Days

Soon after college graduation, Rovira started to tour Paramount Comedy where he performed stand-up comedy all around Spain. He eventually became known for his most famous monologue "Mi familia y yo" ("My family and I").

Dani Rovira went on to work in TV as well as films as an actor. His first appearances were in the TV programs Nuevos cómicos (2008-2010), Buenafuente (2009), Con Hache de Eva (2011), Alguien tenía que decirlo (2012), and voiced Brent McHale in the film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013).

His breakthrough came with the 2014 film Ocho apellidos vascos (Spanish Affair) as Rafael "Rafa" Quirós. The film went on to become the top-grossing Spanish title of all time with more than $75 million.
