Who is Isabella Giannulli?

Isabella Giannulli is an American actress. More than for her professional work, she is famous due to her parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli.

She recently hit the headlines due to her parents' infamous involvement with Operation Varsity Blues.

Isabella Giannulli – Age, Parents, Siblings

Isabella Giannulli was born to famous parents on September 16, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, USA as Isabella Rose Giannulli. Her father is Mossimo Giannulli, a fashion designer and founder of Mossimo and her mother is Lori Loughlin, an American actress best known for her role in the series Full House, Fuller House, and When Calls The Heart. 

Giannulli has a younger sibling, a sister named Olivia Jade Giannulli, who is a social media influencer as well as a YouTuber. She also has an older half-brother, Gianni Giannulli, from her father’s previous relationship.

Education, Ethnicity

As for education, she attended Marymount All Girls Catholic High School and graduated from the same. She was a student at The University of Southern California, until dropping out in mid-March amid Operation Varsity Blues.

Her ethnicity includes Irish, English, and Italian.

Isabella Giannulli – Boyfriend, Husband, Children

Giannulli seems to be single as of now. She does upload cozy pictures with a male friend named Andrew Beyer but has insisted that she is not dating him and is sans boyfriend.

She briefly dated Nick Penske from the summer of 2018 to May 2019. She went on to get into a romantic relationship with her boyfriend Jackson Guthy. However, his relationship too was short-lived as they split in August 2021.

As she is very young now, we are sure she has not thought of marrying and taking a husband. We hope she will settle to have children in the future.

Isabella Giannulli – Operation Varsity Blues

In March 2019, Isabella Giannulli and her entire family were caught in the controversy surrounding the US College entrance scandal, dubbed Operation Varsity Blues, the biggest one ever prosecuted in the United States. 

Both her parents were arrested and later released on $1.4 million bail each. Among the 50 accused were 33 parents, two SAT/ACT administrators, an exam proctor, a college administrator, and a CEO. The mastermind behind the whole bribery is William Rick Singer, CEO of fake college admissions prep company called The Key Worldwide Foundation. 

Isabella Giannulli’s parents were both accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to get their two daughters Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli into the University of Southern California as recruits to the University’s crew team.

Neither of them had ever played in the crew and for the admission, they had sent photoshopped photos of the girls on a rowing machine.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are already facing charges of wire fraud, and money laundering, and their trials began in 2020. Lori Loughlin, and Mossimo Giannulli both served prison sentences, and their daughters, Olivia Jade, and Isabella Giannulli eventually were no longer enrolled at USC.

Isabella Giannulli – The Backlash

Among all the accused, the Giannulli family along with actress Felicity Huffman are under fire from angry parents and students. While some said that the scandal is just the tip of the iceberg, others said it is a harsh reminder of how wealthy families can cheat their way. A woman had reportedly sued the accused for billions of dollars in the case.

Following the backlash, Isabella Giannulli has deactivated the comment section on some of her social media posts on Instagram while her mother has deactivated her social media pages. TMZ reported that both the Giannulli sisters have dropped out of school in fear of “getting bullied”.

Being born to a famous couple has “robbed” Isabella Giannulli of a recognizable career and achievement. Although her parent’s accomplishment has overshadowed her acting career, she does get the spotlight once in a while.

Along with her sister, she was featured in the April 2016 issue of Teen Vogue and the sisters had gushed about their dreams of a beauty or skincare company one day.
