Who is Jenn Lyon?

Jenn Lyon is an actress by profession and an American by nationality. She is best known for starring in the TNT series Claws as Jennifer Husser, Saint George as Mackenzie Bradford-Lopez, and Justified as Lindsey Salazar. 

Not to be confused with Jennifer Lyon, "Survivor: Palau" contestant, who died in January 2010 due to breast cancer.

Jenn Lyon – Birth, Parents, Siblings

Jenn Lyon’s birth took place on April 29, 1985, in High Point, North Carolina, USA. She was born to her father, Reverend Ken Lyon, a former pastor of First United Methodist Church in High Point, while the identity of her mother is not revealed. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, an older brother named Josh Lyon.

Education, Ethnicity

For education, Jenn Lyon attended Ferndale Middle School and High Point Central High School. Following graduation, she went on to study at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She graduated from the same school in 2003. 

Her ethnicity is Caucasian.

Jenn Lyon married her longtime boyfriend, Taige Jensen, on 19 October 2019 after years of dating.  Jensen is a New York-based writer, director, and founding member of the comedy group POYKPAC. He currently works for The New York Times, where he edits and designs videos. 

She and her husband have no children together and are living without news of extra-marital affairs and divorce.

Early Days

Following college graduation, Lyon moved to New York, where she worked in theatre. There she formed her own comedy sketch troupe, POYKPAC, which led to her being cast in the IFC web comedy TV series Good Morning, Internet!. This was followed by guest roles in the TV series Army Wives and Louie, both in the year 2011.

Finally, in 2012, Jenn Lyon was cast as the recurring character Lindsey Salazar in the crime drama TV series Justified (2012-2013). The role gained her recognition in Hollywood.

Over the years, Jenn Lyon has starred in the biographical drama film Blaze (2018) as Cinnamon, Before You Know It (2019), Darla in Space (2024), and in Lifetime’s TV film The Neighbor in the Window (2020) as Lisa Beasley. 

Moreover, she has guest-starred in an episode of Suburgatory (2014) and was cast as the main character in Saint George (2014) as Mackenzie Bradford-Lopez, Dead Boy Detectives (2024), and in Claws (2017-2020) as Jennifer Husser.
