Early Days

While still a college student, he participated in numerous college plays including Arsenic and Old Lace. He eventually began to work at the concession stand at the local movie theatre and by the age of 18, he was managing the theatre.

He later moved to Orlando to work at Universal Studios as a Skipper at the Jaws attraction. He also worked in Nickelodeon Studios as a Gakmeister. After returning back to his hometown he got an agent and was working at CBS affiliate, WBNG-TV. Moving up through the ranks he eventually was the on-air Feature Reporter, where he would write, produce and host his own segments.

Having moved to Los Angeles, Jon Donahue gave acting full time and honed his acting skill at Playhouse West and Upright Citizens Brigade Improvisational and Sketch Comedy Training Center.
