Early Days
Simson began her career as a model. After some work as a model, she went on to compete in Britain's Next Top Model Cycle 5. The was placed first in the 2009 competition. The title gave her increased recognition and advanced her career rapidly. She is currently signed with the London-based modeling agency Established Models (EST Models).
After a successful career as a model, Mecia Simson eventually turned to an acting career. Her debut role was in an episode of the TV mini-series The Hunt as Laura. She also appeared in the 2015 short film He Who Has It All.

Simson has appeared in a limited number of TV series since her acting career has just taken off. She played the role of Alpha Woman One in an episode of the TV series Brave New World (2020). She was a special guest in The Wayne Ayers Podcast in 2022.
