Owen Thiele was born on November 4, 1996, in Houston, Texas, USA. His birth name/full name is Owen Louis Thiele, while the names of his biological parents remain undisclosed. He was adopted at birth by his adoptive father, Bob Thiele Jr., a music producer, and his adoptive mother, Amy Kanter.

They were unable to have children of their own due to cervical cancer.

Thiele, who was raised in Beverly Hills, is the only child of his parents and does not have any children.

Owen Thiele attended The Adderley School of Performing Arts in Pacific Palisades and later went to Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California.
