This was followed by guest roles in the episode(s) of TV series CSI: Miami (2003), Grounded for Life (2003), JAG (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004), It's All Relative (2004), and in the 2003 TV film Twelve Mile Road. Finally, in 2004, he was cast as the main character Shawn Farrell in the science fiction TV series The 4400. He played the role from 2004 to 2007 and is considered his breakthrough role.
