Phaedra Parks is a lawyer, author, reality TV star by profession and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Bravo TV’s reality TV show Real Housewives of Atlanta.

She is not the only child of her parents and has three siblings, among which she is the second- brothers Albert Bell, Henri Jacques Parks, and sister Keosha Bell.
After graduating from Clarke Central High School, Phaedra Parks was educated at Wesleyan College from 1990 to 1993 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.

Then she went on to study law at the University of Georgia and earned a Juris doctorate. Furthermore, Parks also studied at Jefferson State College to earn a degree in mortuary sciences.

As a lawyer
Following college graduation, Phaedra Parks practiced law. Currently, she works as managing partner of The Parks Group and practices law in the areas of entertainment, intellectual property rights, and civil and criminal litigation.
In addition, she has worked as the president of the Gate City Bar Association, on the advisory board of the American Bar Association. Phaedra Parks has also worked for NBC, Fox, CNN, truTV, EXTRA and Entertainment Tonight as an on-air legal analyst.
In addition, she is also a successful author. Her book Secrets of the Southern Belle: How to Be Nice, Work Hard, Look Pretty, Have Fun, and Never Have an Off Moment was published in 2013.
Being a passionate social activist, Phaedra Parks has advocated for African-American boys, workes with her nonprofit organization Save Our Sons and founded Phaedra Foundation. Recently she has been featured on Bravo TV’s reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA).

After almost 8 years of marriage, the couple divorced, which was finalized on 11 July 2017.
