Who is Reid Scott?

Reid Scott is an actor by profession and American by nationality. He is well known for starring in the TV series My Boys, Veep, and the films Venom, and Late Night.

Reid Scott’s birth took place in Albany, New York, USA on November 19, 1977. His mother Kathleen and father Neil Weiner named him Reid Scott Weiner. Not much is known about what his parents did for a living or his siblings if he has any.

For education, Reid Scott attended La Salle Institute and graduated from Shenendehowa High School. He went on to study at Syracuse University, graduating in 2000 with a Directing degree from the Theatre and Film schools.

Early Days

After completing his college education, Scott moved to New York City to further his career in acting and writing. After appearing in several television commercials and roles in the off-Broadway play Cargo, he landed his breakthrough role as the lead in the Fox pilot With You in Spirit (2002). This also earned him a Screen Actors Guild card.

Since then Scott has starred in the films Amusement (2009), I'll See You in My Dreams (2015), Home Again (2017), Venom (2017), Late Night (2019), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), to name a few. He has also appeared in the TV films With You In Spirit (2003), and Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman (2004).
