Early Days

Dunne began his career as an actor in 1994, his debut role being in the TV film Against Their Will: Women in Prison as Scott. In the coming years, he landed a series of guest roles in the episodes of the TV series Side Effects (1995), The Adventures of Sinbad (1996), Mythic Warriors: Guardians of the Legend (1998), etc.

Finally, in 1998, he landed the recurring role of Franz Bhaer in Little Men (1998-1999) and in Dawson's Creek (1999-2000) as A.J. Moller. These roles gained him wide recognition.

Over the years Robin Dunne is known for starring in the films The Fraternity (2002), Jack and Jill vs. the World (2008), Supercollider (2013), The Adventure Club (2016), Altered Skin (2018), Kill Victoria (2024), and in the TV films Species III (2004), three Roxy Hunter film series (2007, 2008; also co-writer), Hallmark’s The Good Witch's Destiny (2013), Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2015), Sound of Christmas (2016). 

He played Dr. Will Zimmerman / Jack Zimmerman in the TV series Sanctuary from 2008 to 2011. Dunne has also starred in the Netflix series October Faction (2020) and Lifetime’s His Fatal Fixation.
