Who is Sarayu Rao?

Sarayu Rao is an actress known well known for appearing in Sons of Tucson as Angela, and in Monday Mornings as Dr. Sydney Napur. She is married to her husband Jonathan M. Blue since July 19 2014 and is yet to have children.

Sarayu Rao was born on March 7, 1975, in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. She was born to Indian parents. The occupation of her mother Malathi Nidadavolu and her father Velcheru Narayana Rao is not shared with the public. Also, there are no details about her siblings.

After graduating from Madison West High School, Sarayu Rao went on to study at the University of Iowa where she earned a BA in Theatre Arts. She also attended American Conservatory Theater from where she graduated in 2005 with MFA in Acting.

Rao married her boyfriend Jonathan M. Blue on July 19 2014 after one and a half years of dating. Her husband is the Director of Creative Development at ReKon Productions. The couple does not have any children yet.

Early Career

Rao became interested in acting at the age of 15. She began her career as a professional actress in the early 2000s. Her debut role was as Mira in the 2002 film Leela. This was followed by minor roles in the film Lions for Lambs (2007), My Best Friend's Girl and TV series Bones (2006), The Big Bang Theory (2007), Hawthorne (2009), etc.

Finally, in 2010, Sarayu Rao was cast as Angela in the TV series Sons of Tucson which gained her wide recognition.
