Tariq Nasheed was born on 1^st July 1974 in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. He was raised in Detroit with his brother and a sister. Apart from these scanty facts, there is no information available on his parents, family, childhood, and school. However, we know that he is a graduate of Yale University.

Nasheed when he was 17 years old, grew tired of the social scene in his hometown. So, he collected $125, bought a plane ticket, and flew to Birmingham. From there he traveled the world gaining one of the most precious things in life- experience.

Tariq Nasheed – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce

Nasheed dated Peanut Nasheed, a former American model for around 7 years before finally getting married in late 2014. They have two sons together. The birthdate and name of their eldest son are not known. The couple welcomed their second son named Asir Nasheed on 15 February 2015.

Tariq Nasheed also has a daughter, born on 2 December 1999. The proud father shared that on June 7, 2018, his daughter graduated high school, thus congratulating her. But who is his daughter’s baby mama? 

Since Tariq Nasheed and Peanut Nasheed were not dating when his daughter was born, we doubt Peanut Nasheed is actually her mother. Her mother may be a former girlfriend of Tariq Nasheed.

The married couple seems to be happy with their marriage. Nasheed seems to know how to make his wife happy. As of 2019, there are no rumors of divorce or extra-marital affairs.

Tariq Nasheed – Career

Early Days

Tariq Nasheed went from country to country, meeting people, and studying them in his own way. The more he interacted with people, the more his knowledge grew of their respective cultures and customs. Intrigued by how people interacted in relationships, Tariq Nasheed studied and developed certain dating techniques.

He then combined the dating techniques he learned in his travels, from the streets of New York, from old hustlers to develop, and from reading phycology books. The result combination of dating techniques was named  "G.I.C.2" (game, intelligence, and common sense, squared) by him.

Tariq Nasheed then began to teach the self-created  G.I.C.2 techniques to men and women in Los Angeles. Nasheed’s popularity grew but his breakthrough finally came when he was discovered by Michael Moore. Moore had hired Nasheed to write some political satire material in the late 1990s.

As his popularity reached a peak, he published a book based on his dating techniques called The Art of Mackin in 2000.

Books

His dating book was a success and sold over 250,000 copies. Tariq Nasheed wrote a follow-up book for women eager to learn the dating game. His second book titled Play Or Be Played: What Every Female Should Know About Men, Dating, and Relationships, published in 2004 also was successful. 

His other books are The Mack Within: The Holy Book of Game, The Art of Gold Digging, and The Elite Way: 10 Rules Men Must Know In Order To Deal With Women published in 2005, 2008, and 2009 respectively. Nasheed has also released an instructional DVD named Mack Lessons.

Others

Famous for his dating books, Tariq Nasheed went on to appear in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brian, MTV Made, among others. In addition to TV appearances, he has created a designer cologne line called Risqué Elite and Tariq Elite, a line of designer sunglasses.

As of now, Nasheed travels around the country, speaking in seminars, lectures, and TED talks. His speeches and talks are mostly about sex and relationships. Moreover, he has made films namely, Hidden Colors (2011), Hidden Colors 2 (2012), Dark Medicine (2013), Hidden Colors 3 (2014), Hidden Colors 4 (2016), 1804: The Hidden History of Haiti (2017).

In addition to all his endeavors, he has launched his own podcast called The Mack Lessons.
