He also took night classes in acting in Los Angeles and did summer workshops in New York while attending performances as many as he could.

Taylor Zakhar Perez – Career

Early Days

Prior to pursuing his career in acting, he was a nationally ranked-swimmer. He had even secured a scholarship at Fordham but had turned it down to focus on acting.

Zakhar Perez’s debut screen role was in a 2012 episode of the TV series iCarly as Keith. This was followed by minor appearances in an episode of the TV series Suburgatory (2013), Awkward. (2014), Young & Hungry (2015), Code Black (2016), and the TV movie Cruel Intentions (2016).

Finally, in 2017, Taylor Zakhar Perez was cast as Noah Torres in six seasons of the TV series Embeds. The role, even though was not a breakthrough for him, provided him with enough fame to launch his career as an actor.

Over the years he has portrayed characters in the TV series High Expectasians (2017), Scandal (2018), Minx, and the short film Philanthropy (2020). He is well known for starring as Marco Valentin Peña in the 2020 Netflix film The Kissing Booth 2 and in the 2021 film The Kissing Booth 3.
