Who is Tom Sinclair?

Tom Sinclair is an actor, musician, writer by profession, and Canadian by nationality. He is best known for starring as one of the three Swedish brothers, Oscar, in the TV series The Umbrella Academy and as the writer, composer, and producer, as well as the role of Lazarus in the film Serpentine.

Tom Sinclair was born on May 24, 1992, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada as Thomas Sinclair. His father is Gord Sinclair, a bass player from the Canadian band The Tragically Hip while the name and profession of his mother are not known. Also, information on his siblings is wanting.

Following high school graduation, Tom Sinclair attended University in Toronto where he was a student in The Performance Acting program. Having moved to California, USA, he enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic arts. His ethnicity is Caucasian.

Influenced by his father’s profession, he gravitated toward performing arts at an early age. He has been playing guitar, and drums from a young age. He released his debut single Prisoner in 2022. Alongside Joey Peters and Remy Fardegue, he has released several songs including I’m Ready Now, That’s How I Like It, Enchanted Carousel, Tchiki Tchiki, Sugar Rush, and Sing a Happy Song.

Sinclair’s made his debut appearance in the 2011 film 21 Brothers as Pte. Matheson. In 2020, Tom Sinclair was cast as Oscar, one of the three Swedish brothers, in season two of the Netflix TV series The Umbrella Academy.

Aside from his role as Lazarus in the film Serpentine he is also the creator/head writer, composer, and executive producer of the film project.
