Early Days

Kettle’s interest in acting and performance ignited at a very young age. She was only four years old when she was captivated by a drama session at school. Following college graduation, she began performing in theatres. Her biggest stage role was at London’s Almeida Theatre’s production of Oil as actress Anne-Marie Duff’s on-stage daughter.

Films, TV Series

In 2012, Yolanda Kettle made her screen debut as Zoe Hardwick in an episode of Holby City. This was followed by appearances in the TV series Doctors (2012), Father Brown (2015), Love, Nina (2016), The Collection (2016), Doc Martin (2017), Howards End (2017), The Crown (2017), etc and in the film A Doll's House (2012) as Helene, among others.

Finally, she was cast as the recurring character Becky Marani in the episodes of the TV series Marcella. She portrayed the character for a total of eight episodes which is considered her breakthrough role.

Since then Yolanda Kettle has appeared in the TV mini-series Roadkill (2020) as Joy Pelling and in the film Made in Italy (2020) as Ruth, and in the 2022 film Persuasion as Elizabeth Elliot.
