Dionne’s victim, now 12 years old, testified that she was best friends with his daughter and was in his house during a sleepover when the assault occurred on the night of November 2017. The child also said that Christopher Dionne had actually molested her twice while his two children- then 14-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter slept in the same room.

According to the victim, Dionne was in his boxers when he asked her if she wanted to touch his penis, groped her on the chest, and backside, and took a photo of her on his phone. The former reality TV show host then told the girl, “Don’t tell your mom, I’ll go to jail and [my daughter] won’t have a daddy.”

In addition to the victim’s testimony, the state presented a forensic review by specialists at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital with evidence that Christopher Dionne’s DNA was found in the inner waistband of the child’s pajama bottoms.

Emotions were high in the courtroom as the mother asked, “How much is a little girl worth? How much is a family worth?” and went on to recall how her daughter received hate messages on social media and kept saying, “Mom, this ruined everybody’s life. I should have never told. I just wanted to be a normal kid.”

The Day reported that  Dionne’s wife Summer Sage Dionne testified she learned that her husband and the victim’s mother were involved in a sexual relationship. Husband Dionne had told her, “I've been sending pictures to her. We've been having a sexual relationship."

Dionne who hosted A&E show House Rescue denied wrongdoing, telling cops that when he got home, the victim was awake and began to put her arms around him.

The show’s production was suspended after the allegations were made public.
