Actress and singer Halle Bailey shared she is nostalgic over ‘missing’ baby bump. She and her rapper boyfriend DDG welcomed son Halo just weeks ago.

The Little Mermaid star shared a throwback video on Instagram showing off her pregnant belly from her underwater maternity photoshoot- channeling her onscreen character Ariel.

“Missing my belly already. But I obviously had to do underwater pics,” she conspicuously captioned the post.

Fans had been speculating Bailey’s pregnancy for months before giving birth in late 2023.

Halle Bailey, 23, only confirmed welcoming son Halo in January 2024 with her boyfriend DDG, 26, by sharing a picture of the newborn’s tiny hand with a gold bracelet engraved with “Halo.”

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son…,” she captioned the post.

“the world is desperate to know you,” she added – referring to months of speculation about her pregnancy.

While attending the MTV VMAs in September 2023, she wore a flowy dress to cover up her belly – which sparked pregnancy rumors. At the time, the source also added that the actress “stayed away from the pink carpet” to avoid being photographed.

“When she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to,” the source said.

Her rapper boyfriend – born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. - did share a sonogram picture on April Fools’ Day 2023. However, fans took the post as another joke.

The couple made their relationship known to the public in March 2022.
