“And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife. So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our immediate family and a few close friends.” she added.

For the wedding Mai and Jeezy, 43, kept up with their planned Vietnamese theme for the ceremony. Jeezy and Mai, who is of Vietnamese and Chinese heritage, were led by Mai’s brother in a tea ceremony.

The news outlet also published that the wedding guests required negative COVID-19 test results- two days in advance and the guests were provided with coronavirus tests day-of before getting into the couple’s home for the ceremony.

The rapper and the “Real” co-host started dating in 2018. This is the second marriage for Mai as she had been married to Freddy Harteis from 2007 to 2017 while this is the first for Jeezy- who has three children.
