Scarlett Johansson and husband Colin Jost welcomes baby boy

Last Modified: 9th Sep

Scarlett Johansson and her husband Colin Jost are now parents to a baby boy!

The Black Widow star gave birth to her first child with Saturday Night Live comedian husband, which the new father announced on Wednesday via Instagram, “Ok ok we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much.”

“Privacy would be greatly appreciated,” he added in his post.

Johansson also is a mother to her 6-year-old daughter Rose, who she shares with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

In July, PageSix reported that the 36-year-old actress and 39 years old Saturday Night Live co-head writer and Weekend Update co-host were pregnant with their first child together.

“Scarlett is pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile.” the outlet reported.

Colin Jost, finally last weekend, confirmed they were having a baby while performing a stand-up gig at Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut.

“We’re having a baby, it’s exciting,” he had said.

The couple married quietly in October 2020 after three years of dating.

The Avengers actress first sparked pregnancy rumors in June after she skipped several Black Widow events. Instead, she promoted the film Black Window, in which she stars and is an executive producer, via Zoom- appearing virtually on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and later on Seth Meyers’ show. In both interviews, Johansson conspicuously only shot from the shoulders up.

This is the first marriage and first child for Jost, 39, while for Johansson this is the third marriage and second child. She was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011, to Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017, and welcomed daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac in 2014.
