Slaton, who stars on 1000-Lb. Sisters, was pictured as she walked in and out of a gas station before going grocery shopping at a Sam’s Club in Indiana.

The 36-year-old also was able to walk unassisted – without the help of a stroller or walking aid device. She did, however, use her oxygen tubes during her routine.

While grocery shopping, the TLC personality took a break from her walk and instead rode on one of the mobility scooters in the parking lot and the store.

The Slaton sisters, Amy and Tammy, have been taking the path of life-saving dramatic weight loss – and their journey to desired healthy life has been documented in the reality show.

In the latest season, Tammy entered a food rehab facility in Ohio. At the beginning of her weight loss journey, she struggled to reach the goal weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. She did eventually lose more than 150 pounds to reach 550 pounds so that she could qualify for the lifesaving weight loss procedure.

Tammy, who once weighed over 700 pounds at her heaviest, underwent bariatric surgery last year and since has lost over 300 pounds.

In late March 2023, she took to social media to show off her impressive weight loss journey. In the social media pictures, she sat outside while enjoying the warm sun as she was assisted by oxygen tubes. Fans and viewers quickly praised Slaton for her much slimmer and healthier appearance.
