Swimsuit model Brooks Nader, well known for gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, is heading for divorce.

PageSix reported that Nader and her soon-to-be ex-husband, advertising executive husband Billy Haire have been separated for months and divorce is amicable.

The former couple was last pictured together during a Mexico beach vacation in February 2024.

They had married at St. Mary’s Church in New Orleans on December 14, 2019, and included some New Orleans traditions during the ceremony.

Nader spoke to People at the time, “I grew up in Louisiana and went to college in New Orleans for two years and love everything about the city. We will have some fun New Orleans traditions incorporated, like a line parade after the ceremony. It’s a staple for New Orleans weddings.”

The pair were vocal about their relationship, including their first date.

The model shared with Sports Illustrated Lifestyle that their first date at Bond Street Sushi in New York was a disaster as she showed up 20 minutes late - then got sick.

She recalled at the time, “I ate like my first bite of sushi—he already had everything ordered—and I sprinted to the bathroom and I was projectile vomiting everywhere. Because I got really sick, I had a stomach disease that I didn’t know about.”

“The waitress went back to the table and said, ‘Your date’s in the bathroom having a really rough time,’” she explained. “Didn’t specify throw up or what it was. Then I sprinted out of the date and he thought that I just didn’t like him, and that was my way of getting out of it.

She was eventually featured on the magazine’s cover in 2023.
