Jersey Shore's Ronnie Ortiz-Magro granted protection order against girlfriend Jen Harley after alleged eyeliner assault

Last Modified: 9th Sep

Reality TV star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 34 who has been dating Jen Harley, 32 on and off since 2017 has gotten into yet another physical altercation.

According to TMZ,  Harley assaulted Ortiz-Magro in January 2011 by poking him in the eye while he was asleep with an eyeliner she had found in the trash. The outlet also claimed that she thought he was cheating on her with the makeup’s owner.

Scott E. Leemon and Leonard Levine, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s attornies said in a statement,

“Regrettably, on Saturday night, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was, again, the victim of a domestic violence incident at the hands of Jennifer Harley. At this time, Ms. Harley, entered his home while he was sleeping and started viciously assaulting him.”

According to law enforcement, Ortiz-Magro called the cops claiming Jen struck him in the face.

As a result of the alleged attack, he went to court and got a temporary restraining order against Harley, which is reportedly in effect until Feb. 25.

However, Jen Harley’s attorney Lisa Bloom told Page Six via email,

“Jenn has not received any restraining order. Ronnie’s attorneys know I represent her, and they have not contacted me or sent me anything. Nothing has been sent to us. Not by email. Not by fax. Not by mail. Not by hand. Nothing.

They have chosen to litigate this in the press, because they know that Ronnie reached out to her in violation of his restraining order, and that his contact with her will have serious legal consequences for him. We will fight for Jenn’s rights in court, because she is a domestic violence victim, and we will win.”

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley share a daughter Ariana Sky Magro, who will be turning 2 this April.  Harley also has a 13-year-old son Mason from her previous relationship.

Series of Domestic assault

In October 2019 Ortiz-Magro was arrested on a kidnapping charge following a fight with Harley in Los Angeles. In the order, which expired on October 11, he had been ordered to stay 300 feet away from Harley.

According to PEOPLE, Harley was also granted another restraining order against Ortiz-Magro in November.

Harley was arrested on June 26, 2018, after allegedly dragging Ortiz-Magro from the car, and in January 2019 she was alleged to have thrown an ashtray at Ortiz-Magro’s head.

She was again arrested in May 2019 on suspicion of domestic battery.
